There's a certain joy getting dressed in the morning knowing I'm proud of the clothes I own and that I feel good wearing them.

There's a certain joy making breakfast knowing I'm eating healthy and I enjoy cooking my eggs "just so."

There's a certain joy coming home knowing that my apartment is pretty, clean, and comfortable.

The experiences I have always exceed my ability to process and understand them, no matter how simple I make my life.

How can I make use of this observation? I came up with it two nights ago, while searching for what I called a "practical philosophy" that will encourage me to take more action; get out and do more.

I also discovered how relatively insignificant thoughts are. They are only as useful as the actions they bring about or the feelings they elicit. And those feelings, in turn, are also only as useful as the actions they bring about.

This is a small sample of a style of thinking that I regularly indulge in.
