Something is wrong with the latest subway maps in NYC, and it took me four or five glances while riding the train before I figured it out: the color green has changed from a bright green to an olive. It's most noticeable in Central Park. It looks like Central Park is polluted or sunburnt. I'm not sure when they made this change; I've been gone for most of the summer. The whole thing reminds me of the Ninja Turtles. I was always fascinated that the four turtles came in individual shades of green.
